a set movement pattern
shows imagination
some understanding of positions and spacing

at badminton and football

but I’m not sixteen any longer
I’ve gotta take it easy man
I’m twenty-three
and get wheezy when
I spend more than two or three minutes

I recently found out I’m not as
fit as a fiddle
I nearly passed out
had to sit my ass down

of a game of five-aside football
on my twenty third birthday I could have died
and I felt like a fool
‘cause I haven’t exercised that much
since school
and I couldn’t get a touch of the ball
but now I’m capable
of running end to end
and I play keepy uppies in the garden with my friend
